This magnificent Almond Croissant was from The Yellow Place French Cafe
Fresh out of the oven when I picked it up on my way into work.
Managed to resist demolishing til lunchtime . . . but it was not easy!
Classic French Steamed Mussels
I used this recipe - Mussels steamed in:
1 T Butter
1 Spring Onion
1 Clove Garlic
1 Cup White Wine
1 Cup White Wine
Served with Wholemeal French Bread - Amazing.
Think the French well and truly put us to shame with their National Day . . .
Waitangi Day needs better food.
